Soon, your New Jersey clients will need to adopt the state-run IRA program, RetireReady NJ, or an alternative that could potentially provide greater advantages: such as an ePlan Services 401(k).

Beginning June 30th, Maine will require all businesses with five or more employees to register for the state-administered savings program or provide their employees with access to a qualified retirement plan, such as an ePlan Services 401(k).

Your New York clients with 10 or more employees can consider enrolling in Secure Choice, or a provide employees with a qualifying alternative such as an ePlan Services 401(k) retirement plan.

Auto-enrollment allows employers to enroll their employees into their company-sponsored retirement plan automatically.

Now is the time to act in your clients’ best interests and inform them of the new mandate and the details that come along with it.

Certain employers who do not currently offer a retirement plan must enroll in Delaware Earns or another qualifying plan such as an ePlan Services 401(k).
